The rise of no-code predictive analytics

Predicting what will happen has historically been the prophecy of seers and clairvoyants. Until the scientific age where machines can now learn to create probabilistic models that can be applied to predict outcomes. 

Machine learning, of course, for prediction has traditionally been done by data scientists. Until now. 

The rise of no-code predictive analytics enables analysts to apply machine learning for prediction in clicks. It’s data science without coding, built for the analysts to deliver data science.

This class will provide an overview of the current state of the art in no-code predictive analytics as it applies to marketing and hands-on learning using Squark.

Curriculum 

1 Session 1: Applying machine learning to your business

November 11

In this first session, we focus on understanding machine learning and learning how to apply it to your business. We’ll cover important, complex concepts simply in a way that is practical and tangible, learn a methodology to apply to your job, and get you access and hands-on by collectively stepping through some common-use cases using Squark.

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand what supervised machine learning is and how it can be done with no code
  • Comprehend the concept of “models” and “algorithms”
  • Know the steps in the data pipeline from connecting data to scoring predictions
  • Understand what data is required and the nuance of data
  • Apply a methodology to frame your business questions for prediction
  • Understanding how to apply Squark to common marketing use-cases

2 Session 2: Interpreting results

November 12

In the second session, we get even more hands-on with your classmate’s data. At this point you know the concepts, how they interrelate, and how to think about applying machine learning to your business. Now we’ll learn more about how to interpret and action results, review companies that are applying no code predictive analytics, and run and interpret some of your data hands-on to conclude the session. You will retain access to Squark once the class ends.

  • Be able to understand and interpret the results of a machine learning model
  • Learn how to action the resultant data
  • Understand common marketing use-cases that can be delivered with no-code
  • Gain hands-on experience applying Squark’s no code predictive analytics for common marketing predictions to your data.
