Who’s on the panel
Daniel Layfield is a Product Manager at Codecademy. He splits his time between the product team and managing external partnerships with governments, tech companies and nonprofits. Codecademy is in a phase of rapid growth, so his role is a combination of finding the right business opportunities and scaling the organization.
Prior to jumping into tech, he spent five years in management consulting and two years in banking. He left that world to start his own company in programmatic advertising.
Dan McGaw is an award-winning entrepreneur and marketer. He is the Founder and CEO of Effin Amazing, a marketing technology and analytics agency which specializes in e-learning.
Coined as one of the original growth hackers and one of the godfathers of martech, he has lead teams at Kissmetrics and CodeSchool.com. In his spare time he creates companies like UTM.io, and non-profit associations like the National Association of Marketing Technology (namt.com).
